Jan Maarten de Raad of Jora Vision will speak at SATE 2012 Experience Industry conference 19-21 September at Disneyland Paris

Jan Maarten de Raad
Jora Vision

Jan Maarten de Raad ( born 1966) is the founder, owner and managing director of Jora Vision.

After a career in the building industry, during which he travelled all over the world, he became more and more inspired by the idea of creating environments for children in which they can forget all the daily "have to do’s” and enjoy a world of fantasy they can co-create themselves.

With this philosophy and drive he started Jora Vision and has built it into a leading supplier of themed attraction parks.
Jora Vision was established in 1998 making sculptures and elements for attractions in themed parks and children’s playgrounds. The company expanded into designing attractions themselves, combined with character development, signage and storytelling, supported by a team of more than 70 creative employees. Headquartered in the Netherlands, Jora Vision is well established among Dutch attraction parks but also serves an international clientele, with projects in China, Malaysia and the United States as well as European neighbour countries Belgium, Germany, France and more.

Jan Maarten has also brought his energy to helping develop the professional community of the international attraction park industry as an active member of the leadership of the Themed Entertainment Association: first as a Board member of the Europe & Middle East Division, and now the TEA International Board of Directors.

To all his endeavors, Jan Maarten brings his untraditional business style and his always cheerful disposition.
