Dale Sprague of Canyon Creative, graphic designer - SATE 2012 signage


Dale Sprague has over 30 years of design, advertising, project management and business experience. As Co-Founder and President of Canyon Creative, Sprague is closely involved with all aspects of each project, from strategic planning through project completion. He firmly believes success transpires from working proactively and collaboratively with key staff members and client liaisons in an environment of open communication and creative problem solving.

Canyon Creative’s client list includes The Walt Disney Company, Adventures By Disney, Wynn Resorts, Southwest Gas Corporation, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Pink Jeep Tours, SH Architecture, Coca-Cola USA, MGM Grand, Ark Restaurants, Kodak, CIG Insurance, Aptus Architecture, CORT Event Furnishings, Ethel M Chocolates, M&M’s, Carnival Cruise lines, and Marshall Retail Group.

Sprague has also designed for many Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. His client list includes American Express, American Standard, Armstrong World Industries, Black & Decker, Boston Red Sox, Dennison, Hunt Manufacturing, Pella Windows, Perdue Chicken, Price Pfister, Inc., Rolodex Corporation, Sunbeam Appliance, Wang Laboratories, W.R. Grace, and others.

Sprague serves as a member of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Western Division board and also serves as the TEA Strategic Branding & Marketing Committee Chair. Sprague is an active member of the AIGA, the professional association for design, Las Vegas Chapter, having served as President and Sponsorship Director. He is also the Chairperson of the Marketing Committee of the Las Vegas Executives Association, and Co-Founder and Secretary of AeroQuestUSA, LLC.

Over the years, Dale Sprague and Canyon Creative have won numerous local and national awards, including PRINT, Graphic Design USA, Art Director’s Club of Boston, The Boston Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication, American Advertising Federation Las Vegas and District 15, and the AIGA WorkShow including Best of Show and Judge’s Choice awards.

Sprague has a B.F.A. in Communications Design from Rochester Institute of Technology.
